Job Description

My client is a global manufacturing giant specializing in aerial work platforms, telehandlers, utilities industry equipment, materials processing machinery, and cranes for construction, maintenance, manufacturing, energy, and materials management applications.

• Provide comprehensive technical support for machines currently in service.
• Collaborate effectively with Technical Services, Sales, and cross-functional team members to ensure seamless communication.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Terex AWP\'s strategy, market routes, and customer base, identifying and supporting commercial opportunities within the Technical Services team.
• Perform mandatory inspections on AWP machinery, ensuring compliance with Genie or local governing standards.
• Service and repair machines at customer locations or Terex facilities to meet manufacturers\' specifications and company policy.
• Conduct assessments and inspections on AWP machinery, reporting findings with estimates for labor and action plans.
• Collaborate with team members for accurate and timely sharing of technical and commercial information.
• Inspect and test wiring and circuitry, replacing faulty parts, cleaning components, and applying finishes or coatings.
• Conduct basic quality checks, supporting the quality program through closed-loop reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all relevant reports and documentation following standard operating procedures.
• Work flexibly to perform additional tasks within the employee\'s skills and abilities as required by Terex AWP.
• Ensure compliance with Terex AWP processes, procedures, and local laws, delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the Service Excellence philosophy.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers as a Terex AWP representative, maintaining high standards of customer care and politeness.
• Occasionally undertake other duties or tasks associated with the level of role and responsibility, including workshops.
• Demonstrate a flexible approach, willingness to spend time away from the home base, and potential cross-border travel on short notice.

Job Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Driving License.
• Preferred: Valid forklift license.
• Preferred: Valid CAP Certification (IPAF Competent Assessed Person).
• Time-served Apprentice with a background in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Essential experience with capital equipment/plant equipment.
• Previous experience with MEWP products and understanding of the rental channel.
• Willingness to undergo in-house training on products, processes, and operating systems.
