Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a Finance Analyst in the Expense Management team! !

The analyst will join the Expense Management pillar of Finance to drive cost management initiatives, leveraging on data driven analytics, to achieve cost efficiencies and optimal return on dollar spent. To facilitate resource allocation aligning to bank's strategic objectives.

Main Duties

  • SAP Concur for staff claims
  • Build customized dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders
  • Manage recurring enhancements to existing dashboard as per business need
  • Maintain and refine periodic reports sent to internal teams in BOS
  • Manage administration access and maintenance with IDM/O&BRM
  • Maintain an updated list of audit questionnaire with Concur Audit team
  • Maintain a list of exception message, audit rules, cost centre hierarchy, email reminders
  • Corporate credit card administration
  • Facilitate corp card application, termination, and adjustments of credit limit
  • Upload monthly corporate card transactions and balances into Concur and AP
  • Post monthly giro charges and adjustments
  • Clawback credit balances from OCBC, for terminated staff
  • Prepayment
  • Maintain a prepayment database, add/archive prepayment entries
  • Post monthly journals to amortize expenses
  • Nostro reconciliation
  • Perform daily reconciliation using IMatch, and perform manual reconciliation using excel
  • Prepare monthly aging report, with supporting documents for substantiation
  • Inform respective internal teams when funds are sighted
  • Post journal entries to knock off bank charges
  • Send daily notifications on outstanding statement credits
  • Perform Intercompany operational duties
  • Issue and receive debit/credit notes
  • Make payments/receive funds
  • Prepare and post Journals
  • Reconcile and signoff internal account balances (Intellimatch IAO)
  • Redesign workflow to achieve effectiveness and efficiency
Qualifications

Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Studies
  • Relevant experience in the banking industry
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently or contribute as part of a team
  • Takes initiatives in streamlining processes and drive automation
  • Programming knowledge will be an advantage (Excel/Access VBA)
