JOB DESCRIPTION A Chinese conglomerate with an Agriculture commodity trading arm is currently hiring for a seasoned CFO level to oversee their Edible Oils Business Unit, covering their overseas busin JOB DESCRIPTION A Chinese conglomerate with an Agriculture commodity trading arm is currently hiring for a seasoned CFO level to oversee their Edible Oils Business Unit, covering their overseas business units as well Reporting to the BU CFO and General Manager, the incumbent will be tasked to take on various finance functions overseas. The candidate will be required to secure financing for the business. liaise with external auditors for year-end audits, prepare audit schedules, ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, prepare financial analysis & management reporting, review balance sheet, handle intercompany reconciliation, identify & follow up on areas of concern, and implement accounting policies & internal control procedures. There might be ad-hoc Finance related projects & assignments that the candidate might take on: ensure compliance in financial related matters, liaise with stakeholders on investment update etc. REQUIREMENTS . Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, or other related field or equivalent . Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent) . Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experiences with 2 - 3 years' experience in managing, leading, and developing a team . Prior working experiences with Big 4 accounting firms and commodities industry will be preferred . Strong command in written and verbal communication skills . Good business acumen to confidently analyse and present to stakeholders at all levels
