Job Description


Position Summary:

You will oversee all financial planning and analysis for the whole APAC region, with key focus on the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long term strategic plans, commercial decision support, financial KPIs and trend monitoring etc.

In the meantime, you may be assigned to oversee finance & operations of multiple markets or business units, where you should input and participate in the development of the business strategies and operations of those markets. Continuously identify and recommend all necessary actions to improve the finance performance and efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

FP&A

  • Closely monitor business trends across markets; analyse financial impacts of sales , related cost and projects planning deviations, recommend and implement necessary measures to ensure budget/forecast integrity
  • Alignment of budgets, forecasts with business strategies; Ownership of financial plans, monitoring of financial targets/KPIs, and related processes
  • Lead the creation of accurate management reports using cutting-edge tools (e.g. BI) in a timely manner ; provide insightful analysis to enable strategic and operational decisions
  • Solid understanding on business and ability to highlight potential risks and opportunities for APAC leadership team based on analytics, interpretation of financials and metrics
  • Promote financial discipline within the organisation, ensures quality of the financial forecasts and compliance of corporate finance policies
  • Liaison with HQ on finance controlling and planning topics of APAC
  • Work on ad hoc Finance project by bringing better functional efficiency and effectiveness
Finance & Operations of assigned countries

Lead KR Finance & Operations team, and ANZ Finance team. the assigned responsible territory and scope may evolve as per company and organization request.
  • Serve as a business partner for the assigned countries\xe2\x80\x99 leader, support to develop strategies, manage execution and measure results
  • Lead respective team to drive the growth of business through accurate forecasting and insightful analysis
  • Lead and guide the team to provide local finance & accounting services to assure timely and accurate delivery, as well as compliance with local statutory requirements and Straumann Group standards
  • Effectively manage supply chain and customer service functions to improve service level
  • Establishment and negotiation of supplier agreements with freight forwarders
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with all regulatory requirements for storage packaging and labeling, handling and transportation of all products
  • Co-ordinate implementation of distribution and warehousing operating processes and procedures from Head Office
  • Oversee relevant personnel and assist with the management of distribution difficulties as required
  • Drive continuous process improvement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with 5 years in managerial/supervisory role
  • Working experience in a fast-paced multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures
  • Experience in leading a sizable team across different geographical locations, and a good team player
  • Strong technical skills in managing high volume data complexity
  • Highly process-driven and systematic in approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High learning agility, able to deliver under fast changing and dynamic market conditions
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with a spirit of challenging partnership and collaborative mindset
  • Active listener, curious and sharp business acumen
