The Company

My client is a Singapore HQ company with expansion plans in the region. Keen to hire a hands-on and commercially driven Finance leader to oversee and ASEAN Finance & Accounting portfolio.

Requirements

• Excited to work in a small/mid-sized enterprise set up and to scale your career along with the business expansion
• Ability to be very hands-on, able to oversee Accounting and Consolidation
• Has strong team management experience, able to guide the finance team and drive process improvement
• Must be commercially savvy, with business partnering experience in supporting MD and commercial team
• Exposure to driving improvement/ streamlining of Procurement function will be highly advantageous
• Traits: Open minded, agile, proactive, good stakeholder management skills, has a positive attitude, energetic, can drive improvement and growth initiatives
• Project Accounting experience may be advantageous
• Singaporean/ Singapore PR applicants only

Budget: SGD13,500 - SGD15,000 per month

Job Scope

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible in overseeing the Finance & Accounting function and be part of the leadership team of a growing business (30-50 million). You will oversee financial management, which includes accounting operations, monthly closing and reporting, internal controls, cash flow management, audit, tax, internal controls, compliance, identifying risks and opportunities, grants, as well as in driving cost saving and process improvement activities. You will provide guidance and direction to the finance team members. You will also support monthly business reviews, strategic planning and financial analysis, identify growth strategies, drive budgets and forecasts, and work very closely with the MD and business development team in decision making process.

You will provide proactive support to various in-country stakeholders and senior leaders in driving business success, provide advice on financial impacts, and drive the set up of entities as the company expands into new markets. You will also assist to review and evaluate existing processes and agreements in the Procurement function (from a Finance standpoint), to drive further improvement and streamlining to make things more efficient as the business expands further.
