Job Description

Role Description: Boxgreen is looking for a high-energy and no-task-too-small Finance Executive to support the finance team for a period of 6 months. This position reports to the Senior Management team including Senior Finance Executive and CEO.

Through this traineeship, you will get to gain first-hand insights on Boxgreen's financial processes, and assist with all end to end planning, reporting and analysis activities for the team to deliver a high standard of reporting and analytical support to the business.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Setup payments for multiple entities
• Handle Accounts Payable processes & bank reconciliations
• Ensuring purchase orders and bills are in order
• Filing of invoices
• Closing of the books for multiple entities:
  
  • Month end journal entries
  • Bank & petty cash reconciliation
  • General ledger & Balance sheet schedule check
  • Intercompany billings
• Assist with reimburse staff's medical and other expense claims
• Improve, formulate and implement accounting and financial procedures
• Support the team in monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Assist in quarterly GST submission, weekly cashflow forecast and etc
• Ad hoc duties assigned by the manager
  

• To learn how to use Xero, the accounting software
• To gain knowledge of general accounting process within the company
• To learn how to track and reimburse staff's medical and other expense claims
• To learn how to process Accounts Payable and assist with closing of the books
• To learn how to do process improvement, formulate and implement accounting and financial procedures
• To learn to support the team in monthly management accounts and schedules
• To learn how to assist in quarterly GST submission
• To learn how to prepare weekly cashflow forecast
