While this ro : Description My client is a listed MNC with a market capitalization of more than $1 billion that is looking for a Finance Manager to join their regional team situated in Singapore to support their operational needs. While this role is a 1.5 year contract position, there is potential for conversion dependent on performance. Responsibilities Due to operational needs, the incumbent will spend an initial 0.5 year in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role, before moving into a Financial Reporting and Operational Finance (FR&FO) role for a subsequent 1 year period. Key FP&A responsibilities include building annual budgets , maintaining a rolling forecast , ensuring the accuracy and timeliness in management reporting , and analyzing operational and financial results. Key FR&FO responsibilities include full sets finance operations and systems for smaller markets, monthly general and subledgers transactional processing, GL/AR/AP/FA/Cash management, reviewing the monthly cashflow forecasts , preparation of annual statutory accounts , and liaising with external and internal stakeholders on audit/compliance matters. Throughout FP&A and FR&FO, the incumbent will be involved in strategic business partnering with the counrty managers, functional leaders, and the global finance team. The incumbent wil have the chance to contribute and assist in objectives for sales and marketing, including identifying and reporting of risks and opportunities , and preparation of business cases to support new investments/strategic decisions. Requirements Youare a qualified Chartered Accountant (or CA equivalent) with a Degree in Accountancyand at least 8 years of experience. Strong understanding ofaccounting, financial reporting, multi-currency cashflow management and FX revaluation is required for this role. Candidates with pure Big 4 experience are welcomed to apply.
