The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, particularly within the real estate sector, and will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with our business objectives.This would be suitable for an individual who are looking at developing oneself further in the full scope of finance and accounting.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage full set of financial accounts, including general ledger (GL) reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and present comprehensive board papers, financial reports, and other relevant documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, ensuring alignment with the company\'s overall business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to monitor and manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
- Continuously review and enhance internal controls, financial systems, and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.Key Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, preferably from the autonomous universities in Singapore.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a real estate developer or the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, particularly in the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing GL reporting, budgeting, and preparing board papers.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
