About the Job

We are currently seeking Finance Manager to join our strong team. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a leadership role, partnership with business leaders and internal account teams to manage the statutory and commercial health of the business. \

  • Duties & Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Management
  • Monthly closing, review, prepare monthly financial summary, commentaries, and variance analysis as well as other relevant reports within stipulated deadlines.
  • Maintain an ongoing revenue pipeline report (\xe2\x80\x9cWRR\xe2\x80\x9d) for submission to regional leadership each week. Track movements between risk categories for weekly commentary.
  • Manage daily operations including AR, AP and Intercompany Transactions.
  • Any other reporting required by local/regional/global teams.
  • Financial Control & Business Management
  • Review P&L and balance sheet, identifying material variances vs forecast and articulating the results to Financial Controller, Managing Director and regional leadership.
  • Establish and maintain accuracy of client revenue and billing plans, ensure month-end inputs are submitted and allocations are recorded.
  • Track billing, WIP, and client deposits throughout the month, with an emphasis during month-end billing. Resolve billing issues based on client needs.
  • Ongoing AR and AP monitoring. Keep teams informed of aged debt and potential collectability issues. Work closely with Back-Office team on all AR, AP and Billing matters.
  • Ensure proper Cashflow Management by overseeing debt management and collection, payments, payroll and capital expenditure.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations in accordance with global policy requirements.
  • Constantly improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
  • Review all CAPEX requests in line with Group policy.
  • Ensuring that overall financial policies, processes, and controls are in place and adhered to.
  • Maintain the revenue Client Pipeline Report for submission to local and regional leadership.
  • Any other reporting or ad-hoc tasks required by local/regional/global teams. Client Finance
  • Assist client servicing team with Project Management including project setup, client & vendor onboarding, WIP and client deposit, accounts receivables and collections.
  • Support Client servicing team to assess progress or milestone of deliverables to ensure revenue recognized according to accounting policy.
  • Assist in monitoring and review of utilization and client servicing to identify and address issues on specific projects and clients.
  • Assist with the administration of new business opportunities and commercial support with business pitches where necessary.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure timesheets are completed timely and accurately.
  • Ad hoc request for analysis and reporting for management as required from time to time.
  • Statutory Reporting
  • Finalize Annual financial statements, manage external/group audits ensuring regulatory requirements are promptly met.
  • Liaise with tax agents, oversee the preparation and submission of annual corporate income tax.
  • Ensure timely submission of Goods & Service Tax (GST) and Withholding Tax (WHT) payments to the authorities on timely manner.
  • Liaise with corporate secretary on all statutory documents and filing matters.
  • Financial Systems
  • Subject matter expert and focal point on internal GFS (Global Financial System) systems

About You

The Finance Manager needs to demonstrate experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, and treasury. The candidate needs to possess strong time management skills with hands-on experience, a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, and is willing to get into the details. Possess proficiency in financial accounting and reporting systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong English skills (verbal and written) required. The candidate must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills as this role will work very closely with the entire agency.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 5 years+ relevant working experience in accounting or finance in client service industry, project accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • 2 years+ of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with special emphasis in Excel.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer service oriented and fosters positive working relationships.
  • Well-developed leadership skills.
  • Extension billing management experience.
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Possess strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to understand priorities and multi-task.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Shows initiative and has a proactive and positive attitude.
