Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks, financial reporting, billing, collections.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of finance officers.
• Perform monthly closing reports, management reporting.
• Perform quarterly and yearly tax submissions including GST and estimated tax computations.
• Liaise and work with tax agent on tax compliance matters and review tax computation prepared by tax agent.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors in relation to audit requirements, including preparation of audited financial statements.
• Ensure compliance of financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations.
• Work with IT team to implement \xe2\x80\x9cWeb based Invoice System\xe2\x80\x9d.
• Work with IT Team to implement SUN6 Accounting software.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll.
• Oversea bank compliance.
• Liaise with corporate secretary for all corporate secretarial matters.
• Take on lead roles in ad-hoc projects and activities assigned.
• Additional Finance and Administration related tasks as directed by management, such as Financial Data Entry work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in International freight forwarding business \xe2\x80\x93 is advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and local languages.
• Good computer skills with a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Diligent and organized.
• Able to handle work pressure.
