They are actively looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their ever-growing team. The Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis (30%) . Key lead in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting - by providing reports, consolidation and selected analysis proactively or as directed by CLT / regional team . Variance analysis against budget and forecast in key performance indicators including sales volume, revenue, direct costs, operating expenses, capital expenditure, providing monthly actuals commentary to management . Closely tracking forecasting accuracy and to ensure continuous forecast improvement amongst local finance and operational teams . Support business case preparation with collection of data and preparation of business cases as requested by CM. Test/challenge appropriateness of assumptions . Drive process improvement for efficient, accurate and timely reporting Accounting Operations (50%) . Ownership of the full Singapore entity (Singapore, Regional Office, and North Asia) related month end close process - leads day to day dialogue with FSS and HQ . Proactive business partnering with local stakeholders on close items such as revenue and expense accruals, adjusting entries and communicating to shared services for data entry . Initiate and execute accounting operations process improvement initiatives, monitoring and improving progress to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and minimise risk . Ownership of full Singapore entity AP process - driving day to day, routine (e.g. master data) and process improvements with stakeholders, troubleshooting issues with operational team . Monitor P2P (Ariba, Concur and Oracle) systems to ensure that procurement is initiated, and payments are recorded in accordance with policies, ensuring data integrity and highlighting gaps . Leading funding/banking activities including direct liaison with HQ, HSBC, DBS as needed . Support Regional Finance Manager to analyse and review entity funding and document findings and recommendations . Ownership of full Singapore entity claims reimbursement process - rectifying compliance issues. Proactively engage with operations teams/FSS/CM/Region Finance as needed . Manage petty cash process by ensuring petty cash is used on an exception basis only and appropriate cash controls and retaining supporting documents and approvals Compliance (15%) . Lead Singapore branch financial audit, financial statements preparation and submission process - including auditor liaison, HQ / FSS liaison (lead FSO process) . Lead local Singapore branch tax matters including but not limited to GST, annual tax returns, employee yearly tax submissions. Supporting activities with HQ tax, EY and PX . Lead Singapore branch company secretarial activities such as ACRA, MOM, or other liaison/submissions . Participate in internal audit and control processes, driving timely collection of data and paperwork to support review procedures Other Duties (5%) . Assist local and regional management with preparing finance and analytical information to support presentations . Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Country Manager The Requirements: . Bachelor's Degree - additional certifications in Finance / Accounting a bonus . With 5-7 years of experience . Consistent performer with a minimal error rate and the ability to operate proactively with minimal supervision . Customer service attitude and an excellent team player - willing to support others to achieve wider team and company goals . Strong English communication (verbal and written) skills to interact effectively with global colleagues . Resilience and adaptability to change / and work in a constantly changing environment . Able to overcome challenges to perform effectively . Strong Microsoft Excel skills .
