Position Summary Our client is seeking an energetic and self-starting Finance Manager who has the ability to support the team with finance and administration services. The role will demand a solutions-oriented individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow professionally and along with a growing business by playing an instrumental role in a new and rapidly growing organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business partner to Chief Operating Officer and company management
  • Assist with P&L and balance sheet responsibility for month-end reporting
  • Budget & prior year variance commentary
  • Reconcile inventory management systems to ensure an accurate interface to the general ledger
  • Support COO to delivery of end-to-end accounting services
  • Processing of monthly expenses
  • Assist with annual audit to review stage
  • Monthly payroll processing (basic, CPF and IRAS)
  • GST registration, quarterly filings and maintenance
  • Ad hoc projects in process and system improvements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Accountable and adopts a ‘business-owner’ work mentality
  • Has excellent communication skills and can engage with a diversity of people
  • Takes initiative to problem solve quickly and with minimal disruption
  • Flexible and has an ability to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Hard working with a “can-do” attitude
