The Asia Pacific Revenue Planning and Analytics team is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, responsible for revenue planning, forecasting and budgeting, and providing revenue analytics and management reporting to support business decisions for geographies in Asia Pacific.

We have a unique opportunity for a highly analytical, self-motivated and results-oriented finance manager who will focus on Asia Pacific revenue analytics and support the VP on broader revenue-related initiatives.

What a Finance Manager does at Visa:

  • Utilize business understanding and perform robust analytics to succinctly identify, outline and communicate business implications and risk of business growth
  • Analyze the trends emerging within our cross-border business by key corridors (region, country), merchant category, channel, etc. and evaluate the factors driving their evolution
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from business and the executive team on driver dynamics
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Regional Finance team to coordinate, develop and share best practices among cross-border analysis
  • Track merchant localization and monitor for new merchants localizing
  • Support the storyboarding of analytical output and production of materials for related business reviews and presentations
  • Build strong knowledge of Visa\'s business through constant communication with partners across Finance and Strategy
  • Build analysis with limited guidance, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
  • Support the AP Revenue VP to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of forecasting processes and management through partnering with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and support ad-hoc revenue projects

The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the revenue planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for geographies in Asia Pacific as well as financial analysis to support business decisions and deliver management performance reports for the region

The incumbent should be a self-starter with an analytical and inquisitive mind and is driven to communicate business performance to senior leadership in an efficient and effective manner. He/She will collaborate with internal partners from finance, systems, analytics team to produce in-depth analysis of revenue driver trends and movements. He/she will drive forecast excellence & business analytic improvements for the region.

Qualifications

What you will need:
  • Bachelor degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7 to 10 years work experience, with progressively increasing responsibility. Preferably with industry experience where technology (digital or e and m commerce) feature strongly.
  • Must demonstrate a strong analytical, statistical, and creative skill set and be able to succinctly present data in well structured formats.
  • Good in data visualization and has the ability to manage large datasets, model and analyze statistical reporting scenarios, provide informed and well-reasoned insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • A proactive and resourceful self-starter with ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision in a changing environment.
  • Enthusiastic work ethic, passion for learning, and acute professional curiosity, able to solve problems with balance of independence and well-solicited input
  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI). Conceptual knowledge of financial database is beneficial.
  • Demonstrates well developed analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Collaborates well with different teams from finance, systems, analytics and able to work through the matrix organization structure
Additional Information

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.\xe2\x80\x8b
