Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the accounting, finance and admin functions of the organization.

• Evaluate the impact of current and potential businesses and to ensure controls and risk management processes are managed effectively.

• Advise on funding requirements and structure to drive and support business expansion and acquisitions, both locally and overseas.

• Review and analyze the monthly financial and management reports and make sound financial judgment for near and long-term business planning

• Prepare relevant analysis to support Management decision making, driving transparency and insight into the business and action required to improve.

• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast, including annual budgets, mid-term business plan and performance indicators

• Ensure timely completion of accounting processes and generation of financial and management reports.

• Monitor and ensure healthy and adequate cash-flow and funding to support on-going operations.

• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

• Review and improve accounting and finance processes for better workflow, efficiency and controls.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and reporting standards.

• Handle tax matters to optimize tax liabilities.

• Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems – while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.

• Deal with external auditors and regulatory bodies on accounting and tax matters.

• Carry out benchmarking of operational and financial performance parameters, and highlight business issues that impact overall revenue and cost

• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company
