If so, you could be the Finance Manager that Beep is looking for!Beep is a fast-growing Singapore start-up building universal automation platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT). Headquartered in Singapore, we help power millions of transactions across the ASEAN region. Since our first product launch in end 2019, we have grown to serve a wide variety of retailers, agencies and vendors in over 5 countries, supporting more than 32 million transactions across 3000 touch-points. Our IOT platform is extensively used across multiple industry segments, and we have established a strong reputation as a trusted provider of seamless, interoperable connectivity bridging commercial IoT systems to digital platforms including payments, analytics, authentications and more.Across the unattended retail, eMobility & healthcare markets, our platform:

• Facilitates millions of transactions in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines through Vending Machines, supporting over 30 payment wallets in Southeast Asia

Building on our unique position as the industry leader in IoT automation, we are going from strength to strength, setting the groundwork for rapid expansion across the region. To help drive our growth smoothly, we are looking for a passionate teammate with an accounting and/or finance background that relishes the opportunity to play a part in building the right structures and processes in a rapidly changing environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial accounting and bookkeeping process for monthly and quarterly closing accounts
• Ensure invoicing, accounts receivables, and payment/expense management functions are maintained, including vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
• Continuously improve and optimize our financial workflows and conventions and use existing technology tools and applications to increase efficiency and automation
• Work with Beep's external corporate secretary & accounting service provider in the preparation of annual financial statements and any external tax, reporting and audit requirements
• Prepare financial analyses which provide insights into business operations such as business line/ cost centre and contract performance to support management decision-making
• Support business planning, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring that the allocation of revenue and expenses correctly reflect the performance of revenue/cost centres.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent certified courses
• Excels in a fast-paced, high growth and rapidly changing technology-driven environment
• Comfortable with working in an unstructured environment, taking the initiative to suggest improvements or processes
• Constantly up-skilling and improving yourself by learning from industry best practices
• Fluent in accounting tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Xero and other related systems
• Prior full-time and internship experience in finance and/or accounting roles with direct hands-on involvement on the above responsibilities is a big plus
