  • Provide the President with up-to-date assessment and feedback on CADG’s Development Programs and Engineering Projects; ensure important issues are quickly brought to management’s attention for timely and proper allocation of resources to tackle challenges.
  • Responsible for assisting the President & Executive Director in directing and managing CADG activities to ensure effectiveness, efficiency of key units (audit, operation, finance, compliance, anti-fraud). Identify opportunities for cross-functional synergy and directs capacity building, development and coaching of personnel where necessary.
  • Help to ensure effective coordination and management of projects at all levels. Ensure effective communication of critical operational issues back to head office. Provide vital link between head and field offices, define and influence the ways of working, and assist to ensure key field personnel are fulfilling their roles. Actively engage stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions associated with projects.
  • Serve as the primary Financial Point of Contact for the Business Development Team and Operations Team. Review, recommend, and update all Business Development Financial information with regards to bids and project proposals. Track Project spending utilizing the BOQs by reviewing and analyzing all PR/POs submitted by the Operational Team.
  • Identify and assess strategic issues, participate in strategic discussion and where necessary, manage strategic initiatives to enhance overall CADG’s operations. Participate in the operation and business strategic planning process, providing guidance to and inputs from key stakeholders; analyze cross functional activities and make recommendations.
  • Assess potential impact and formulate recommendations in response to changes in policies or donor/project requirements; contribute to strategic development process by liaising with various individuals in the field and support offices where required.
  • Develop, Implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures while being that link between the Operational and Finance staff.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports on routine and as-required basis. Ensure the P&L statements, variance reports, and balance sheets are accurate and up-to-date as a quick reference to project status and profitability for the owners.
  • Prepare all required documents and review application forms for all business licenses and registrations while ensure compliance with local financial regulations for the particular country of operations.
  • Review intercompany billings to parent company, especially with regards to partnered companies, while tracking general financial status of all subsidiary and partnered companies.
  • Participate in various ad-hoc projects and organization initiatives as directed.
