Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely reporting of the Company’s consolidation, management and statutory reports, including the holding company’s (“the Group”) reporting pack with sound financial analysis.
• Review and up-keep operational financial processes to cope with the changes in business activities and ensure effective control and business support to all internal stakeholders are in place all the time.
• Advise senior management on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization, as well as any other financial implications on business activities.
• Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Evaluate and recommend funding sources, and other financial instruments that will meet the Company’s cash flow needs.
• Maintain and strengthen good relationships with regulatory authorities, bankers, internal and external auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the Company’s and its subsidiaries’ (if applicable) accounting/finance/tax activities and functions are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and in accordance with relevant regulations, laws and standards.
• Put in place effective internal controls, and process and procedure within the Company and its subsidiaries (if applicable); and comply with the Group’s policies and guidelines.
• Work closely with Finance team of the Group and ensure timely reporting and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

• Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken Japanese as to liaise with Japan counterparts
