Our Team

Based in Singapore, Lumens Group is a family of brands offering an ecosystem of services around cars. Our story began as a private hire car leasing company to address the needs of the new sharing economy led by Uber and Grab. Our core business has been leasing to ride hailing drivers and we grew our car fleet to one of the largest in Singapore in under 8 years. During this time, we have expanded our services to personal & corporate vehicle leasing, vehicle purchasing and financing.

Emerging strong from the Covid-19 period, Lumens is building for an exciting new era that brings in a wide range of merchants and individual consumers to our ecosystem. By owning a critical mass of vehicles and driver relationships, we are able to innovate on vehicle setup, driver upskilling & deployment, as well as technology and data capabilities to build mobility platform services that impact our everyday lives.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions;
• Oversee finance department employees and set effective department KPIs;
• Resourceful, hands-on financial support with vast experience in finance accounting, management reporting, taxation and payroll;
• Work closely with inhouse and external counterparts to ensure that target expense, capex and headcounts are monitored closely with quarterly forecasts;
• Oversee financial account (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets) and costing team to achieve timely closing of accounts, submission of quarterly forecast and budget;
• Responsible for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary;
• Track the company\'s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company;
• Research and analyse financial reports and market trends;
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making;
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports;
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings;
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes;
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company;
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

• Possesses a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role;
• Superior mathematical skills; strong in numbers;
• Strong leadership skills and has at least 5 years of experience leading a team;
• Understanding of data privacy standards;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good public speaking skills;
• Has a deep understanding of business principles and practices;
• Has superior attention to detail;
• Excellent organisational and planning skills;
• Must be hands-on and work with operations to achieve business excellence;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills;
• Proficient in computer and Microsoft application software;
