Responsibilities

• Prepare/review/coordinate the consolidation of statutory/monthly/quarterly financial reporting, investor reporting in accordance with accounting standards in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall financial health.
• Review portfolio companies\' financial reports, inquire discrepancies as appropriate and ensure high integrity in financial management at portfolio investment entity level.
• Work with the Finance Director in managing/leading external and internal audits processes including liaison with the auditors and preparation/review of audited financial statements.
• Work with the Finance Director in the annual budget exercise including preparation of budget files and analysis, including coordination/guiding of department budget owners on the requisite information.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of monthly/quarterly/annual budget vs actual analysis and presentation decks.
• Monitor and manage financial budgets at the corporate level to ensure proper financial controls are in place and effective in design.
• Review tax computation and filings of entities.
• Work closely with tax agents to manage taxation matters and be alerted to tax exposures and ensure prompt filing of statutory taxes.
• Assist with tax planning, transfer pricing and tax restructuring exercises etc.
• Assist with cash management matters including bank account opening and administration matters, monitoring of cashflow position, maintaining banking relationship etc.
• Assist with capital calls/returns/distribution matters.
• Provide finance transactional support to investment team and portfolio management teams on acquisition/divestments and due diligence activities.
• Coordinate with the investment team to manage the capital call process and ensure the business has sufficient funds for pipelined deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accountancy, Finance and/or Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience within the private equity/real estate industry, with at least 3- 5 years\' experience in a managerial/team lead role.
