Client Profile
Our client is global trusted international life insurance broker. They are a leading global insurance broker institution that delivers a broad range of services such as bespoke advisory and brokerage services which help preserve wealth and create liquidity for high net-worth clients, affluent families and multinational companies.Job Responsibilities:

• Posting sales commission journal accruals for PBB, Tiering, Team Leader Incentives and Partial/Balance and Enhanced cases
• Updating Group paid cases along with co-broking scenarios.
• Updating monthly paid cases, including reconciling with Operations team
• Liaising with Ops team to ensure that OPEX data is correctly updated and checking against the commission statements from carriers.
• Updating Marketing allowance into paid cases and checking actual received from carriers.
• Making referral fee payments, including following up closely on advance referral fee payments, ensuring details sent to banks are accurate and timely, ensuring fees are paid on time according to bank schedules, and statements are sent monthly, and invoices are requested and checked.
• Making referral fee payments on banking platform, and managing cashflow
• Posting trade and non-trade AR and AP
• Preparing quarterly GST report for review, and proceeding with the filing once approved
• Preparing and liaising with tax agent for income tax computations and filing for Singapore and Malaysia Labuan
• Preparing and liaising with auditors during interim and final audit
• To prepare any other ad hoc finance reports upon request
• Preparing intercompany reconciliations with other entities
• Preparing AR and AP aging listing
• Providing updated listing for medical recovery for the team to make claims.
• Data entry into QuickBooks and NetSuite accounting system
• Acting supervisor to lead a team overseas in Labuan entity
• Run month end revaluation and bank reconciliation in account system
• Issuing GST invoice to Singapore carriers
• Liaising with Labuan Corporate Secretary for any statutory matters.
• Updating cash book master listing for trade.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with full sets of accounts
• 4-5 years\' experience with the accounting function
• Preference for candidates who can start immediately
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Experience with Oracle and Netsuite
• Proficiency in Excel
