Finance Manager

Current work location: Loyang and will be shifting to Tuas in Dec 2022 (transport will be reimbursed)

Reporting to the General Manager and Head of Finance, your will lead a small team and be responsible for the following areas. 1. Management Reporting

• Facilitate monthly business performance reporting.

• Present financial reports to senior management

• Oversee preparation of quarterly, half-yearly and annual statutory accounts
  

2. Financial Controls & System Review

• Review standard operating procedures relating to fixed & current assets, including assessment of asset obsolescence

• Review monthly reconciliation schedules relating to bank balances, payables, inter-company balances

• Oversee treasury activities, forex transactions, short term loans and borrowings

• Ensure satisfactory internal controls and follow up on audit recommendations in a timely manner
  

3. Budget Preparation

• Oversee financial budget preparation for operating units
  

4. Cost Management

• Monitor cost controls & assess cost reduction opportunities through regular review sessions with management

• Evaluate and set the right cost benchmarks so as to ensure appropriate pricing.
  

5. GST and Corporate Tax

• Ensure tax compliance
  

6. Project Studies

• Participate in project feasibility studies

• Furnish financial reports to assist management in project evaluation
  

7. Special Assignments and Projects

• Responsible for training and development of the team and raise the standard of competency, skills and knowledge of the team.

• Undertake special assignments and projects as directed by the General Manager.
  

Requirements:

• At least 7-8 years of relevant experience, preferably from the FMCG industry.

• Experiences in a MNC or Listed Company is an added advantage. Working experience in OPCO will ease the incumbent into this role.

• CPA preferred.

• Meticulous and keep high quality of work in terms of accuracy and timeliness.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
  

Other information: Location: current in East and shifting to Tuas 2022 (transport will be reimbursed) Salary: S$8500per month
