Salary: Up to $3,600Benefits: AWS + PB & more.Location: Central to East SingaporeAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and more. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization while working in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:General Ledger Management:Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate entries, including journal entries for accruals and adjustments.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections, while reconciling vendor statements.Financial Reporting:Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and support management report preparation and variance analyses.Fixed Asset Management:Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with company policies, including regular physical audits.Bank Reconciliations:Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.Tax and Compliance:Support the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Audit Support:Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring internal controls are in place.Cash Flow Management:Monitor and manage cash flow to meet financial obligations, and prepare forecasts to aid financial planning.Problem-Solving and Process Improvement:Identify areas for process enhancement and troubleshoot accounting issues with effective solutions.Follow-Up and Communication:Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, ensuring clear communication with vendors and team members.Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent; ACCA or similar qualification is a plus.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the airfreight and logistics industry.

• Detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of working independently or leading a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
