Financial Accountant (6 Months Contract)

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

This is a hands on role, responsible for all General Ledger matters for assigned legal entities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the results. The role is required to have a close partnership with other finance teams, internal key business partners as well as external audit/tax agents. In addition, the role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Ensure accounting close of Singapore legal entities accurately and timely (per corporate deadlines)
• Prepare trial balances and analyze key accounts to identify unusual transactions
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Prepare corporate reporting (e.g. SEC reporting and analytics) following corporate deadlines
• Provide support and guidance to business partners on closing process, accounting treatment and internal control matters
• Responsible for local audit as well as internal audit for the entities assigned
• Responsible for quarterly GST / VAT return and annual income tax return, as well as WHT
• Identify and drive process improvements across the finance function
• Ensure compliance of Coty accounting policies, US GAAP and local GAAP
• Ensure proper internal control are implemented
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BRING

We\xe2\x80\x99d love to see candidates who have:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting,
• Possess strong knowledge of local accounting regulation
• Able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
• SAP knowledge preferable, with good experience in accounting software
• Hyperion knowledge advantegous, but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills
