Accountant (6 months contract) Salary: $3, 500 - $4, 000 Working Days: 5 days , 830am - 515pm Location: Boon Lay Job Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly accounts and supplementary schedules to Accountant (6 months contract) Salary: $3, 500 - $4, 000 Working Days: 5 days , 830am - 515pm Location: Boon Lay Job Responsibilities: Prepare monthly accounts and supplementary schedules to ensure timely and accurate submission of month end financial reports Responsible for weekly operational activities for AP, AR & GL functions. (System weekly closing and reconciliations, etc.) Responsible for AR collections and liaison with customers and inside sales team to ensure no uncollected overdues Perform credit assessment and analysis on new and existing distributors to determine optimal credit limits Manage the Fixed Asset register, capital expenditure requests and approvals, monthly depreciation Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast Lead the internal control processes Assist in annual audit and tax matters Monitor and review accounting and related ERP/BC reports for accuracy and completeness, and resolve accounting discrepancies Manage the intercompany, payables and receivables processes Prepare quarterly GST returns to tax authorities Job Requirements Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent Minimum 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience in system implementation is an advantage
