Financial Accountant (central)

Job Description

- Assist with monthly financial close and reporting for Singapore entities
- Assist in the preparation of periodic accounting entries, payments and reconciliations
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support intercompany activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial information for external audits and correspond directly with external auditors to provide requested schedules and support
- Support and ensure compliance with all statutory finance and tax declaration eg GST, income tax
- Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners
- Proactive in identifying process inefficiencies and offer suggestions for improvements
- Carry out and assume any other duties or responsibilities
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to regular communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts daily
- Minimum 3 years of experience in book keeping and have knowledge on financial statements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel skills
- Conscientious and meticulous, good organisational skills, independent
- Familiar with IFRS and Singapore tax regulations for reporting matters
