The Company Our client is a global MNC headquartered overseas, and they are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join their team in Singapore to oversee financial operations for the region. The Role This role will oversee the accounting function and will be responsible for the accounting and closing matters. You will manage a team of direct reports that support the finances for Singapore and also be responsible for liaising with external accounting vendors for overseas finance matters. The role will also cover the tax and audit matters for the company, as well as cashflow related matters. The role will also cover consolidation for the company and ensure accurate and timely reporting to the headquarters and will also handle the planning and analysis for the company, including forecasting and budgeting, and will need to work with the team that is based overseas on a weekly basis. Your Profile
- Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIA)
- Strong experience in accounting and FP&A
- People management experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- US GAAP experience
- Soft skills: strong communication skills, adaptable, takes initiative, team leader, fast learner, flexible, resilient
