An exciting Financial Controller job has opened up at an established player in the IT industry. About the Financial Controller Role: Reporting to the Regional Director, you will manage a team and working closely with the various business unit heads. In addition to that, you will need to work well cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities which include KPI & budget management, forecasting and financial management, payroll matters
• Strategic planning and collaboration with HQ in Japan
• Ensure corporate, and statutory compliance and financial standards
• Review all contracts, risk management and process improvements
• Preparation of reports, presentation and participate in monthly steering committee meetings

To succeed in this Financial Controller role, you must possess strong business acumen, solid operational and technical accounting and financial background in a mid-size firm. You must also have a high level of integrity and excellent communication skills.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years\' relevant work experience, preferably with IT related industry experience
• At least a Bachelor\'s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent
• CPA/CA/ACCA qualified
• Prior experience in the Big 4 and technology industry is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholders management
• Good interpersonal skills, to effectively handle stakeholders from varied levels
• Strong business acumen
• Strong financial analytical skills
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
