WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Financial Governance & Controls (FG+C) Manager who will be part of the Southeast Asia and India (SEA&I) Controlling team to lead the journey towards a more holistic audit readiness culture within SEA&I territory and evolve the compliance framework to meet the needs of our business processes.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role, you will maintain strong corporate governance through a robust controls framework that includes implementation, testing and remediation where required, of business process controls. You will drive awareness and education in territory so that control performers and owners understand expectations of performing and administering control. You will monitor and drive remediation plans and reporting of deficiencies reported. You will lead and drive ICFR and Internal audits that may be required statutorily for India entities. You will also provide support in new initiatives or projects to ensure business models and processes have key controls considered. Such initiatives may be led by Global Controlling, Ethics & Compliance or Territory business teams.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work closely with various business teams across SEA&I, internal Country Controlling teams and Global and Geography FG+C teams in day-to-day work and various initiatives. You may also interact with external parties and service providers who we partner with in driving through various initiatives or audits.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Accountancy or Finance with at least 8 years of commercial and/or Big 4 experience in audit, internal controls and/or SOX compliance. Candidate should also have one or more professional certifications - Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of risk and controls standards, enterprise risk management and business process best practices required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-cultural business partners and stakeholders, and work effectively within cross-functional teams in a matrix and hybrid environment
  • Hands-on experience in process improvement, project management and change management, including process centralization and standardization, will be an advantage
  • Prior working with SAP ERP system is highly preferred
