Fleet Operations Manager Tuas Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 6.00pm $ 4500 - $ 5500 + $ 252 Allowances + AWS + VB Job Responsibilities/ Duties In charge of fleet management of about 11 vehicles. Work closely with internal departments to plan and coordinate prioritize tasks, drivers, vehicles, loads and route planning to meet customer requirements. Assess and recommend ideal transportation method, routing or carriers to meet customer specifications and costs. Strive to keep transport costs low and within budget, while ensuring safety. Ensure compliance with local authorities and customer requirements. Review fleet operations processes and drive initiative for continuous improvement process, and ensure the processes are documented and followed the SOPs. Coordinate with Vehicle Workshops and plan for periodic maintenance of truck and yearly LTA inspection of truck. Perform daily / weekly safety toolbox meeting and ensure drivers comply with standard operating procedures. Assists in Emergency Response including containment of spills and clean-up. Carry out bio-hazard waste collection from hospitals and medical establishments when needed. Prepare documents and reports related to fleet / collection operations, e.g. incident investigation & reports. Involves in the recruitment and training of fleet personnel. Ad-hoc projects as assigned. Job Requirements At least possess a Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. Possess a Class 4 driving license is a MUST. At least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in Logistics & Fleet Management. Must be well versed in NEA, SCDG, LTA regulations as well as consignment notes, waste management etc. Familiar with operating trucks (10 - 24 footers), Hazardous Waste Management and Singapore roads. Experience or familiar with fleet management software. Familiar with workplace environmental, health, and safety aspect of operations. Ability to prepare and carry out risk assessment (RA) and safe work procedure (SWP) for the operations of fleets. Willing to be standby on weekends or PH for any work related issue.
