Job Description

\xc2\xb7 Assist Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) teachers in the preparation of ingredients, equipment in the kitchen for practical lessons.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness of the Food Laboratories and Preparation Room which includes mopping of floors and positioning of chairs and tables when necessary, cleaning of refrigerator, labelling and tidying of raw ingredients that are not used at the end of the week, washing, and drying kitchen hand towels, and tidying up kitchen tools and equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in receiving food orders from supplier and storing food ingredients in the correct storage.

\xc2\xb7 Assist teachers to maintain safety during F&N (Food and Nutrition) and FCE (Food Consumer Education) lessons.

\xc2\xb7 To be with FNS teachers at all times during their lessons.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the two Art Rooms and Art Storerooms weekly.

\xc2\xb7 To be at the school\xe2\x80\x99s General Office to relief the GO during GO meetings. To assist the Administration Manager (AM) in light duties or when the school\xe2\x80\x99s OSO is on leave.

\xc2\xb7 Perform any other duties assigned by the AM and other school\'s management personnel.

Job Requirements:

Candidate is to have:

\xc2\xb7 At least 2 years of experience in the above stipulated Job description / Required Services; preferably Lower Secondary Education.

\xc2\xb7 Able to converse and read in English

\xc2\xb7 Good attitude and a team-worker

\xc2\xb7 Able and willing to perform and multi-task.

Working Hours:

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of half an hour lunch break

Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of half an hour lunch break

Reporting time might be brought forward during exams/test periods.

Contract Period: 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024
