Read and interpret construction drawings for project requirements
Determine and cut materials to the required specifications using tools
Construct and assemble the formwork into the ideal shape for concrete foundations
Assist the workers by pouring the concrete into the formwork
Remove formwork after concrete has dried, fill up the gaps to ensure it to be ideal shape
Ensure formwork is in good working condition and safe to use for future projects
Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintain the formwork and cutting tools are clean and safe to use
Requirements
A formwork carpenter should be able to read and interpret blueprints/ construction drawings, measuring and shaping the formwork, setting up and dismantling the formwork
