About the role

The aim of Finance Shared Services is to manage the performance of the Shared Service Centres used by DSC related to quality, compliance, effectiveness and efficiency. Further centralize transactional finance processes into larger scale Shared Services Centres in line with prevailing location and outsourcing strategy, thereby enabling economies of scale and skill, real estate, and labour cost optimization.

The FSS Business Partner Manager is a professional leader and influencer, responsible to run, define and implement the DSC Finance outsourcing strategy, work with business leaders to manage delivery of financial accounting services from Shared Service Centres.

The FSS Business Partner Manager is responsible to find opportunities to improve service delivery. They are responsible to define the resources required and put the right project structure and governance in place, when required in collaboration with SSC leadership. This includes leading various highly complex project phases as well as conducting change management.

Responsibilities

  • Secure SSC alignment and consensus with senior level stakeholders in Regions
  • Lead the successful delivery of the agreed shared services strategic roadmap
  • Ensure that the portfolio of transition programs/projects and process improvements is well-managed
  • Responsible for the improvement of agreed KPIs for the SSC
  • Manage senior-level stakeholders of the SSC to deliver in accordance with the SLA on regional level
  • Partner with SSCs to identify continuous improvements regarding quality & costs
  • Responsible for quality assurance of regional projects
  • Deliver implementation of Change Management framework on regional level
  • Drive alignment with the process towers resulting in end-to-end optimization
  • Ensure all business requirements and process documentation regarding outsourced activities are accurate and up to date on a country and regional level and aligned with the Accounting Operating Model standards defined by the process towers
  • Review and approve SSC related Change Requests / Service Orders; ensure that they are logged and documented correctly
  • Lead and champion the alignment of performance indicators defined by BPO towers with the SSC on country/regional level
Requirements
  • Long-lasting experience working with one of the DPDHL divisions (Desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally/divisionally with other staff
  • Deep understanding of and experience with transformation programs, PMO and technologically complex projects
  • Deep experience and proven track record in financial accounting
  • Deep knowledge of the SSC/Outsourcing industry and the Finance function
  • Good at negotiation of Outsourcing agreements
  • Proven and successful international experience
  • Proven financial or business experience with project/program experience inclusive of large change programs through to implementation
  • Extensive work experience in business/transformation/outsourcing topics
  • Master\'s Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Internationally recognized professional financial qualification
  • Project management qualification
  • Certified in Change/Process Management
