Job Description
We are a newly opened café - pomme which runs as a café in the day and as a restaurant at night. We are a group of young passionate chefs working towards our dream to open a café/restaurant to share our passion in creating food and pastries. We aim to be a one stop diner for all to enjoy a diversity of food creations. Well aware that the F&B industry is challenging, we hope to look for individuals who share the same aspirations; in creating a caring team culture and warm environment for our customers to enjoy.
What we are looking for:
- Dedicated, motivated and passionate individual
- Team player, quick learner
- Able to take initiative depending on situation
- Able to work at a fast pace during peak hours
- Basic cooking skills & knowledge
- Basic planning & management skills
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification
- Mise en place for daily operations:
- Cooking stocks
- Knife skills
- Prepping side dishes
- Other ad hoc duties
- Ala minute cooking - when trained
- Plating and dishing out food
- Assisting chef in kitchen
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen at all times
- Taking note of low stocks in inventory
- Assisting in ordering and receiving goods
- Health insurance
- Staff meals
- Pantry for staffs
- Birthday leave
- Employee discount
- Late night transport fees (when applicable)
- 5 days work week
- Split shift
