Company description Art Village is an independent art gallery and studio, as well as an academy for all ages. Founded in 2014, our aim is to inspire both children and adults to love art and do art in an environment comprised of professional art, where students are able to learn from professional artists. We hope that by bringing art and teaching together, our students will be able to grow into young budding artists themselves, as we cultivate the creativity and techniques of each and every individual to their fullest potential. Job description We are looking for a Full Time & Part Time Art Teachers to join our tight knit team of kindred NAFA graduated staff here at Art Village! We serve both as an art gallery & studio, dedicated to spreading love for art & providing room for exhibitions. Founded in 2014, our aim is to inspire both children & adults to love art & do art. At our studio, we have fun, make friends, & hang out, all whilst cultivating the creativity & techniques of each & every individual to their fullest potential! - Weekend & Weekday Working Hours Available - Location: West (Bukit Timah Plaza, West Coast Plaza & Katong V) - Exciting, multicultural & relaxing working environment - Rewarding job experience in children\xe2\x80\x99s art education & exposure to new artists Requirements: - Fine Art Graduates preferred, as the job requires for one to have basic knowledge in drawing & painting. - Experience with teaching kids or adults is preferred, however training will be provided for new, excited alumni. - Fantastic customer service & PR skills - Independent, willing to learn & show an initiative at handling tasks. - Able to speak fluent English. Ability to speak Mandarin is a bonus in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers. - Cheerful, fantastic energy, & patient when communicating with children, parents, teachers & customers - Fresh graduates and present students welcome Responsibilities: - Teach students from a varied levels of 3 years old to adults (3 - 5 students per class depending on level & teacher\'s experience) - Assist teachers in preparing basic marketing & advertising materials when required. - General administration duties (social media uploading, attendance/fee taking, stock taking, etc.) - Handle walk-in/phone inquiries & sales about our art classes & student\'s progress - Provide friendly, engaging customer service. - Communicate with children, parents, teachers, & potential customers Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months Salary: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month Benefits:
