We are looking for a warm and caring PIANO TEACHERS to conduct 1-1 and small group classes at our East (Parkway Centre) location. Why choose us? Role and Responsibilities Commitment

• Full-time (42 hours/week) OR Part-time (30 hours/week)

Teaching Music

• Conduct individual piano classes and small group music explorer classes.
• Create student learning plans and customize lessons to meet student goals
• Prepare students for music exams, competitions, or performances
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding student goals and progress
• Motivate students and encourage progress in the student\xe2\x80\x99s learning journey

Piano Program Development

• Help lead the growth, development, and curriculum of our piano program

Working Together

• Work collaboratively to plan and execute school activities (such as camps, workshops, or concerts) and create a fun and progressive learning environment for students
• Attend staff meetings and teacher training sessions when requested

Marketing & Promotions

• Assist in marketing activities related to promoting the school when requested

Qualifications and Experiences For This Position:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma majoring in Piano
• At least 2 year\'s experience teaching music
• Confident teaching and preparing students for exams at higher levels (Grade 8)
• You smile easily with confident communication skills
• A fun, creative approach to teaching music

We\'d also love to see:

• Experience leading, building and developing a piano program is a PLUS
• Ability to teach contemporary/pop piano a PLUS
• Grade 8 certification in violin or another instrument is a PLUS
• Experience teaching group music classes is a PLUS

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $3,200.00 - $4,200.00 per month Expected hours: 30 \xe2\x80\x93 42 per week Benefits:

Education:

• Bachelor\'s or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Grade 8 Certification or Higher in Music Theory (Preferred)
