What the role is:Funding and resource management is a strategic lever to direct efforts towards desired changes and to advance digitalisation objectives. The Strategic Resourcing team of Smart Nation Group works with Ministry of Finance to evaluate and recommend allocation of resources to Information and Communications Technology & Smart Systems (ICT&SS) projects that advances Smart Nation Group ambitions. As a key member of our team, you will use your financial and strategic expertise to review resourcing policies and manage central budgets to promote innovation and support transformative, cross-agency ICT&SS projects. We\'re looking for candidates with experience in strategic finance and a strong understanding of product strategy to review resourcing policies, direct resources to impactful areas, ensuring product quality by holding the bar and designing the right outcomes.What you will be working on:1. Assess funding proposals submitted by government agencies seeking financial support for their digital products and direct resources based on impact and alignment to Smart Nation Group strategies independently. 2. Justify recommendations and document funding decisions to support proper project governance and grant administration. 3. Review if existing funding processes and frameworks are effective in advancing digitalisation objectives, propose basic changes accordingly, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement the changes. 4. Contribute to performance evaluation efforts of Smart Nation Group to assess the extent to which products and initiatives achieved their intended outcomes, to ensure proper accountability and over the funds spent and improve strategic alignment of projects and initiatives. 5. Contribute to review of pricing strategies and polices of central digital products and initiatives, by offering strategic perspective. 6. Lead special projects and ad-hoc analyses with minimal supervision to support key business decisions.What we are looking for:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, computer science, or engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3-5 years relevant experience in performance evaluation, conducting policy reviews, venture capital, private equity or finance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience/involvement in digitalisation initiatives within the public sector will be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to evaluate product/proposals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess intellectual curiosity, with a passion to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, comfortable with ambiguity and change. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keen interest in digitalisation, good grasp of emerging digital and technology trends.
