Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Perform corporate level performance monitoring for Group’s portfolio of businesses;
• Partner with business units’ management to work towards achieving consistent profitable performance;
• Coordinate business performance forecasts and ensure integrity of projections;
• Consolidate Group level cash flow forecasts and perform scenario planning;
• Provide key parameters, guidelines and manage Group’s annual planning and budgeting exercise;
• Coordinate review and prioritisation of project investment proposals, and ensure their alignment with Group’s overall strategy and risk-return benchmarks;
• Coordinate the work for corporate accounting and global tax functions;
• Ensure implementation of best-practice corporate governance standards, working closely with business units to ensure that robust systems, structures and processes are in place;
• Maintain and update Group’s control policies;
• Lead or participate in strategic corporate projects as a key management team member

Qualification and Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent;
• Minimum 15 years' regional strategic financial management experience gained from a corporate/MNC environment; Experience in agribusinesses will be an advantage;
• Proven strong managerial and leadership qualities;
• Commercially-oriented with high energy and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Disciplined in business approach and possess high levels of integrity;
• Operationally aligned to business objectives, with keen eye for analysis and details;
• Possess strong business acumen and commercial sense;
• Driven, sharp, results-oriented with strong ability to link financial numbers to key business drivers;
• Good team player, strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written);
• Flexibility to undertake short-term assignments at operating units, leading projects to enhance business performance
