Primary Responsibilities

Model the company values and take steps to continuously improve the company\xe2\x80\x99s high-performance culture. Deliver year-over-year revenue growth and improvements to earnings optimizing working capital to reach company goals.
Establish specific strategies and plans to generate profitable sales growth and improve operational results. Maintain an effective reporting system and planning rhythm to ensure effective communication, alignment and measurement.
Shape the company\xe2\x80\x99s commercial strategy and direction. Ensure the company successfully competes for new customers and grows share with existing accounts. Targets should be consistent with company strategy including high-value packaging projects with Medical Device Manufacturers, Pharmaceutical and Diagnostics companies.
Work closely with the finance team to align departmental and capital budgets to the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic and annual priorities. Monitor and respond to variances as needed to ensure results are consistent with expectations.
Provide direction and oversight to capital projects in the region, including proposing and prioritizing capital projects based on market analysis and medium and long term financial return objectives.
Generate improvements to productivity and the customer experience through process excellence, industry-leading quality, effective products, and service.
Drive talent management efforts and ensure high expectations for individual performance, talent acquisition, and employee development.
Collaborate with marketing team to communicate or verify regional customer needs such that priorities for customer acquisition and new product development can be established.
Maintain deep relationships with key customers and industry players define share of wallet at major accounts, identify decision makers and stakeholders, build and execute plan to grow share at target accounts.
Build a talented and motivated management team of high-value, results-driven, professionals that out-hustle the company\xe2\x80\x99s key competitors. Invest in training and organizational development projects to ensure effective organizational learning and effectiveness.
Provide leadership to the negotiation of complex deals with key target customers, suppliers, and other industry partners.
Identify and engage with partners (distributors or other value added partners) to expand Oliver\xe2\x80\x99s reach and drive profitable sales in geographic regions in which Oliver does not want to commit direct sales resources.
Contribute to identification of M&A pipeline in the region. Build relationships with target companies and engage internal resources as necessary to validate targets for acquisition.

Basic Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering, operations or business related field

Experience:
5+ years of profit and loss responsibility in a $20 Million+ organization

Preferred Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Physical or Natural Science, or Engineering
Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience serving the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Flexible packaging background preferred.

Strong leadership skills and experience building effective leadership teams
Excellent nose for talent with a strong history of attracting and retaining talented people
Excellent strategic thinking skills and able to synthesize volumes of complex data quickly
Results-driven and comfortable taking calculated risks in a collaborative team environment
Knowledge and experience developing new products
Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with colleagues, subordinates, superiors and customers
Tech and computer savvy with hands-on skills in ERP systems and MS Office
