Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a GM with demonstrated experience leading a centre management team for a MCST retail mall in Singapore.

As the GM, this role provides opportunities to define and execute the mall strategies, drive P&L and deliver on business KPIs, whilst building strategic partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders. This role would be ideal for someone who is seasoned in the retail mall management office environment, possesses inspiring leadership and a can-do attitude, and would like to elevate or develop further into a general management role.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Define overall mall strategy and execute strategy to ensure key targets are met
• Plan and control Centre P&L budget and ensure all expenditures are within all allocated budget
• Supervise and lead Centre Management team to ensure smooth operations of the mall and meet expectations of tenants and shoppers
• Oversee Marketing and Leasing teams to ensure optimum occupancy, tenant mix, strategic position and NPI performance
• Oversee maintenance and repair team to ensure regular upkeep of the mall
• Control and manage arrears to avoid any bad debts
• Collaborate with Asset Management team to manage asset\'s infrastructure, standards and presentation
• Provide Management reports for monthly & quarterly reporting
• Build and maintain cordial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial transactions and operations
• Keep abreast of new-to-market/ retail market scene and recommend new ideas / prospects for implementation

• Minimum 10 years of experience in shopping mall management and 5 years of managerial experience
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Real Estate, Business Administration, Property Management or related fields
• Valid Real Estate Salesperson (RES) license preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of retail property market and issues
• Must possess MCST knowledge and experience
• Strong leadership skill
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Financial management skill with proven ability to manage budgets
• Effective negotiations and interpersonal skills
