We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Global Advisory Agile Lead.

Principal Responsibilities

The purpose of the SVS Agile Business Delivery Lead role is coordinate all aspects of change delivered in the Advisory sub-value stream, maximising delivery velocity and optimizing work flowing into the Agile teams in accordance with the HSBC Change Framework. The roleholder will work with the SVS Management team comprising of the Business Outcome Lead and the Technology Lead to create effective delivery mechanisms to ensure the end to end delivery of the SVS outcomes. The roleholder will be part of the Asia Transformation team and the Global Investment Wealth Solutions (IWS) Transformation team.

The SVS Agile Business Delivery Lead will have the following responsibilities:

  • Supporting the GPB&W Advisory SVS
  • Drive and support the Agile Teams in the SVS to deliver in alignment, at pace and sustainably to achieve their OKRs
  • Support the analysis to define the capacity allocation within the SVS
  • Understand how to execute the product vision, supporting POs to understand how to prioritise, and define the delivery construct across the SVS, including definition of MVP broken down into features and epics
  • Support detailed business case definition, and business change cost estimates
  • Drive business change delivery plan for commercialisation with Markets (including market run ahead activities, Change & Implementation etc)
  • Proactively identify, manage and control delivery risks across SVS
  • Accountable for budgeting and financial management across SVS
  • Identify and mange dependencies with other VSs / Enabler VSs, actively problem solve and generate options for resolution to keep delivery at pace and keep escalations to minimum
  • Define resourcing for SVS, identify and grow SVS team capabilities and manage potential resource hotspots
  • Deliver SVS reporting, incl OKR tracking/ management, and QBR with increasing focus on \xe2\x80\x9cself-serve\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Support vendor Onboarding (vendors delivering business-related capabilities) for SVS
  • Accountable for change management approvals (incl. Change Framework compliance, NFRs, Data Visa, Records Management, SOX, etc)
  • Support SVS Business Risks and manage approvals via RMM, GRROC etc.
  • Ensure Business QA informed of testing requirements / timelines & UAT timelines committed to
  • Work closely with Market Enabling SVS/ Market Product Owners to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes into markets
  • Engaging stakeholders to improve the maturity of the ways of working
  • Jointly with the Technology Lead defining the ways of working of the SVS to drive the agility within the SVS
  • Provides agile coaching to business stakeholders through advice and lessons learnt proactively improving ways of working and training in new practises and techniques
  • Creates a culture of collaboration in a high performing environment by breaking down organisational silos and positive team dynamics
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of investment products, capabilities, platforms and operating models within a Private Banking or Wealth environment , in particular Advisory services and products
  • Proven track record of management and delivery across multiple markets
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology and the change management lifecycle
  • Proven experience in an environment that demands organisational agility and getting results through effective management of processes; possess capacity to define problems, analyse causes, assess options and find effective solutions; ability to relate to people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Very strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills across geographies
  • Highly organised with exemplary attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, driven and delivery focused
  • Highly adaptable with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Effective presentation, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
  • Recognised strong organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Understanding of GPB&W Strategy and the HSBC Group
