We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager IWS Transformation and Business Architecture. Principal Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to be part of the Investment & Wealth Solutions (IWS) Transformation and Business Architecture team, within the IWS COO who are responsible as Product Owners for supporting the IWS Global Product Heads in translating strategy into deliverable capabilities and managing these through to implementation, and in BAU. This role is to partner with the Global Advisory business as the Advisory Product Owner to develop capabilities, design solutions, build target operating models, define investment cases, support change execution, ensure business readiness, manage BAU processes and business governance models, and relationship manage third party vendors. The focus of the role will be to:

  • Manage the global Advisory product backlog as custodian of the global product vision, supporting the Global and Asia Head of Advisory to prioritise features to deliver the best commercial outcomes and to drive strategic change delivery as their representative
  • Design, implement, manage, and continuously improve the global Advisory target operating model
  • Ensure tight interlocks between Advisory and the other IWS products, markets, and key stakeholder groups to ensure solutions and client journeys are horizontally designed and delivered
  • Facilitate the quarterly and annual CTB planning processes from an Advisory product SME perspective and manage the global Advisory Capability Investment Cases (business cases)
  • Drive effective cost control management across Advisory globally
  • Manage and govern third party vendor relationships that support the Advisory business globally, ensuring all service, contractual and policy commitments are met as well as working with them to deliver the new capabilities required
  • Support the Advisory business in managing the control environment globally \xe2\x80\x93 MSIIs, global Audit read across, and resolution of issues identified
  • Manage the Advisory business governance framework
  • Manage all Advisory ad hoc operational issues as they arise and own the solution through to resolution
  • Support the combination of the GPB&W business within Advisory by seeking opportunities across every aspect of the role
  • Represent Advisory in related IWS initiatives
  • Assist with all, and any aspects of the wider Global IWS COO team, as and where required

Requirements
  • Detailed understanding of an Advisory business as well as the supporting Advisory capabilities, platforms and operating models within a Private Banking or Wealth environment
  • Strong ability to manage global operating models, third party vendors and risk / control environments
  • Proven track record of management and delivery across multiple markets with an understanding of Agile methodology and the change management lifecycle
  • Experience in building and managing business cases
  • Proven experience in an environment that demands organisational agility and getting results through effective management of processes
  • Possess the capacity to define problems, analyse causes, assess options, and find effective solutions
  • Very strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills across geographies with ability to relate to people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Highly organised with exemplary attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, driven and delivery focused
  • Highly adaptable with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Effective presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Understanding of GPB&W Strategy and the HSBC Group
