:Our client creates and delivers world class and epic immersive experiences for audiences worldwide. By leveraging on their partnerships with major media and entertainment studios around the world, they bring compelling experiences and lasting memories to millions of visitors in over 60 cities to date.Based in Singapore, this role will play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of our client in the region. The ideal candidate is self-driven, positive and highly adaptable. Someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and resourceful, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Legal Advice \xe2\x80\x93 Provide legal advice to stakeholders and business units on a wide range of corporate commercial matters, draft, review, negotiate and advise on agreements related to transactions, procurement, inter-company matters, employment, compliance, intellectual property and other corporate matters.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving - Manage the company\xe2\x80\x99s risk whilst maintaining a competitive business environment. Anticipate, identify, and solve legal problems.
  • Policies & Procedures - Develop and implement policies and procedures related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
  • Project Management \xe2\x80\x93 Instruct and work closely with external counsels, liaise with both internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure timely desired outcomes.
Requirements & Attributes:
  • A L.L.B. or equivalent law degree with at least 8 years of legal and compliance experience with a good mix of private practice in a good law firm and in-house experience in a corporate commercial role.
  • Experience working in or supporting the APAC market with a background in corporate, transactional and/or dispute resolution work.
  • Entertainment, Intellectual Property, Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets or SG-Listed Company experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Superior stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively with key stakeholders and team members.
  • A team-player with an ability to work with colleagues from different teams and able to work independently and self-manage competing priorities under deadlines with minimal supervision as part of in-person and virtual teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to apply sound, principled, and consistent judgment in diverse and challenging legal, business and cultural environments. Consultative and collaborative in reaching well-thought-through solutions.
  • An ability to balance legal risk and business needs. Comfortable with ambiguity and change, unruffled by uncertainty.
