Head of Data and Machine Learning

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing Data and ML team. Provide coaching and mentoring to the Data and ML team.

• Guide Data and ML architecture to ensure performance, security, and extensibility.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the company\'s roadmap for AI/ML.

• Work closely with the product team to design and deliver data pipelines and ML-based recommender systems that delights customers with personalised experience

• Work cross-functionally to operationalise ML models and serve inferences efficiently, which include automating data pipelines, ML pipelines, performance monitoring and testing.

• Be the evangelist for AI/ML through mentoring and technical/knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• You have experience in creating, managing and coaching high performing engineering teams

• You possess at least 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering and ML engineering.

• You have programming experience in Python, Java, Pyspark and Scala.

• You possess knowledge of Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Hive, etc

• You have experience in building and optimizing Machine Learning models, ML pipelines, data pipelines and architectures.

• You have experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.

• You have a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT or a related discipline

Salary range: SGD 200K - 240K annually
