Role Purpose: The Global Marketing Manager is accountable for maintaining the integrity, development and execution the global brand. This involves the development of global brand portfolio positioning, brand strategy and growth platforms aligned to the overall business strategy and global goals to deliver significant incremental value growth. This role ensures that Operating Companies have all the necessary tools, guidelines and collateral needed to grow brand equity and market share as well as driving consumer centric culture through the business. Also responsible for inspiring local Marketing teams to deliver world class activation programmes via collaborative cross functional and cross geography team work.
Some of the key areas you would own include:
  • Develop a robust global brand strategy and architecture including global guidelines, resources, tools and collateral for deployment through in-market teams
  • Ensure consistent appropriate deployment of the brand, visual, tone, and personality, across all relevant markets, communication channels (physical, written, collateral, digital and social) and stakeholders
  • Provide support, guidance and coaching to in-market teams to grow the brand and market share
  • Development and execution of compelling projects and initiatives as required
  • Drive robust NPD process and ensure pipeline development is aligned to Business strategy/ Global Brand priorities, reflects global trends and effectively capitalises on local market/Hub opportunities and insights.
  • Identify and realise opportunities to achieve growth targets.
  • Champion best practice development and sharing to embed “best in class” execution into business culture.


What you’ll bring:
  • Tertiary degree in marketing, or related business degree.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of global marketing experience in the FMCG industry.
  • SEA marketing experience will be essential.
  • Global food, Consumer and Shopper or Customer Marketing experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in developing Brands, Portfolio and Categories and executing to world class standards.
  • Strong influencing skills and able to work well with cross functional teams.
  • Proven experience in developing brands, portfolio and category strategies and executing using new digital technologies across the marketing mix.
  • Sound understanding of insight methodologies and digital marketing.
  • Ability to deal with volatility.
  • Strong stakeholder management skill to drive alignment.
