Global Road Logistics Operational Excellence and Technology Manager | Singapore | SGI1984065

You will be part of our Road Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to delivery of customer + operational excellence.

YOUR ROLE

You will be responsible for designing global technology products + programs in partnership with our regional business leaders + managing them across multiple stages from development, implementation to improvement. You will focus on the rollout of strategic customers, carriers + operations focused solutions + systems, including several products, tools + features) to enable value driven road freight + trucking operations. You will also scale up our existing capabilities, boost adoption + expand operational excellence, automation, innovation, prepare for future growth + improve efficiency + service capability for our Asia Pacific markets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop + drive the technology strategy for Asia Pacific, along with business unit leaders in the region + countries by creating roadmaps + defining workable paths against clearly defined success criteria.
• To master our global Road Logistics technology blueprint applications + lead the deployment of our new Transport Management System (TMS), its surrounding applications as well as its process + organizations model while balancing both ambassador + demand manager roles within Asia Pacific.
• To manage large-scale projects + programs from start to end, including detailed project planning, gap analysis, solution design, testing, training, change management, launch preparation, execution + operational follow up while constantly striving for zero negative customer, business + result impact.
• To lead operational excellence + controlling, guide regional + national leaders towards process standardization, technology adoption + leveraging our offshore shared service centers.
• To consistently challenge the status quo, raise the bar by analyzing data, measuring operational performances + taking fact-based decisions to implement the best-in-class customer, carrier + employee experiences.
• To manage external + internal senior stakeholders across multiple departments on definition, progress, risks + change control, actively linking management, business + service engineering teams to ensure execution.
• To empower local process + systems experts, including training the trainers, creating instructive materials using various multimedia applications + supporting the countries during the change process on site.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Experience in managing large-scale technology programs, projects, or product management from planning through to execution.
• Strong experience in operational excellence, operational controlling, performance management or similar roles in technology adoption + performance improvement with data literacy + good command of data analysis applications.
• Good understanding of Road Transportation or Logistics operations in emerging markets.
• High attention to detail + proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while applying structure + passion to exceed results in an ambiguous work environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Asia Pacific to manage a variety of stakeholders in different countries.
