About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, strategist to join our Global Strategy group and help us to redefine our role in the exciting and evolving payments and trade eco system.

What to expect:

  • Contribute to the design, continuous improvement and iteration of our evolving trade strategy through an in depth understanding of the challenges facing the eco system, ii. the needs iii. market and competition dynamics
  • Engagement with actors across the trade eco system, including banks, corporates, fintechs, governments and industry bodies to augment strategic insights and assist in commercial decision making and validation.
  • Refine, and prioritize, an array of opportunities to leverage our existing platform assets and ii. collaborate with third party partners to address community needs.
  • Own and lead strategic projects that drive trade digitisation. Projects range from new market entry, landscape mapping opportunities to pilot, iterate and deliver joint value propositions with partners, growth/turnaround, commercial due diligence, rapid value creation and organisation transformation.
  • Represent SWIFT at an industry level
  • Coordinate, manage and supervise liaisons and contacts with internal/external stakeholders (eg: with sales for recommending annual objectives, with IT for product development, with customers, vendors, regulatory bodies, industry groups to understand their needs and goals and to address specific issues). Represent and promotes SWIFT to the external market.
  • Keep abreast with trends in the industry and share information with other divisions/departments.
  • Under guidance of senior management, implement and maintain HR policies/procedures. Hire, reward, coach, motivate and develop team members of the department in order to have qualified, competent and motivated employees.
What will make you successful?
  • A university degree with minimum 10 years' relevant experience in APAC countries
  • Expertise in Trade and vast understanding of Trade Ecosystem; as well as expertise in Wholesale payment is key
  • Ecommerce, Payment's solutions experience will be advantage. FinTech Consumer & SME markets in APAC
  • Having experience developing trade strategies and passionate for developing customer-centric trade strategies is a mast
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to write compelling and concise documents
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
