The Global Travel Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the global procurement strategy for the Travel categories. These categories include travel agencies, airlines, accommodation, car lease, rail & travel carbon offset. Working as a core member of our Indirect procurement team, you will take ownership of sourcing for the travel category, negotiate agreements and lead global procurement projects. In this role, it is expected that the Global Travel Manager to understand the external variables and to learn the internal landscape (requirements, organisational structure, priorities), develop and manage relationship with stakeholders to successfully deliver Toll travel program.

• Lead global tenders, sourcing projects, contract negotiations and implementation of arrangements with suppliers to deliver best value and minimize risk to Toll;
• Ensure any sourcing activity performed follows Toll\xe2\x80\x99s processes and delivers a transparent and effective sourcing process;
• Act as the point of contact between Toll and key suppliers for Travel categories;
• Adopt and implement strategic supplier management program using Toll Third Party Supplier Management framework;
• Ensure the Toll preferred suppliers to meet agreed SLAs and take corrective action where the SLA\xe2\x80\x99s are not being met.

Qualifications
About you To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5 years track record as subject matter expertise in the sourcing and management of travel
• Extensive exposure to the travel industry
• Experienced implementing a travel program
• Proven experience developing and delivering strategic programs of work
• Experience with commercial and contractual management, including understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
