Keysight Technologies is looking to hire a self-motivated individual to help drive Keysight event management. This exciting opportunity is for a talented Event Manager skilled in defining, launching and measuring the ROI of enterprise IT, Tech Partner, Channel and Sales events who will work with Product Marketing, Sales, Verticals, Channel and Corporate Marketing to ensure that our target markets are attending and discovering our value propositions, with the end goal of generating opportunities and deal registrations.

Key capabilities and requirements:

  • Work with internal stakeholders (Product, Verticals, Corporate Marketing (web, social, PR, field marketing, etc.), Sales, ISTs (Verticals) and the Go-To-Market (GTM) team (Channel, Tech Partners)), to define, schedule, coordinate, launch, and track outcomes for agreed to channel activities.
  • Meticulously plan and execute on all event details including content, messaging, collateral, signage, giveaways, promotion, logistics (contracts, timelines, communications) and post-event follow-up to increase sales pipeline. Events can physical and virtual, small and very large.
  • Track event performance and ROI and make continuous improvements.
  • Create innovative ways to drive attendance for demand generation. Be proficient at building outreach momentum as the event nears.
  • Develop and deploy pre and post-show communications to support event success and pipeline. This includes virtual events as well.
  • Coordinate directly with Sales, Tech Partners and Channels for their specific events and provide a best practice checklist to ensure stellar execution.
  • Manage booth logistics, giveaway inventory, shipping and replenishment.
  • Build the quarterly event budget and open any needed purchase orders and ensure that matching invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  • Build a holistic outbound event calendar that can be sorted by region, country, vertical, GTM, IST, Corporate and type (by type-Sales local event, Tech Partner, Channel, IST (verticals), etc.) so any interested stakeholder can see what activities are planned, costs and executing.
  • Work with Sales to ensure solid post-event follow-up. That includes expeditiously getting the participation list, working with sales as to which get loaded in Salesforce and to prep the file to load into our GTM ROI PowerBI dashboard. Effectively manage the database building and maintenance.
  • Manage post-event lead loading. Create salesforce campaigns and partner with IT to load leads and route them to sales for follow-up.
  • Provide creative recommendations to stand out from our competitor's events.
  • Provide monthly meetings and status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure all the logistics and content are in place for a flawless execution and great participant experience.
  • Overtime, determine which events (physical or virtual, topical or experience, etc.) provide the best ROI and provide recommendations and best practices for future ones.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
  • Experience putting together an event calendar, tracking progress, outcomes and ultimately measuring the ROI of each activity.
  • Travel to the events as necessary.
  • Worked 4 to 9 years with companies that sell Enterprise IT products (Network protocols and IT security knowledge is a definite plus).
  • Experience with Salesforce is helpful.
  • Experience working with events agency is useful.
  • Experience implementing workflow processes, to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Strong excel skills and experience with pivot tables.
  • Very organized with a positive attitude that meets the deadlines.
  • Manage analytics and regularly report on event results in quantitative ways.
  • Strong ability to focus on tasks, deliver correct results and a desire to learn how to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, including experience of working with senior level staff and executives.
  • Having worked in one or more international companies is a plus.
