Job Summary

Liaise with the Assistant Graphic Design Manager and site management to understand and interpret business needs and/or current business focus, and design MVCI collateral with high visual impact to meet these needs. Using a wide range of media and graphic design software, this position will be responsible for creating a wide range of general company as well as sales and marketing specific collateral including but not limited to websites, brochures, exhibition collateral, owner communication material, and corporate identity collateral (business cards, letter heads etc). Primary role would be responsible on all digital, online and multimedia creative projects for the company / region.

Under the direction of the Assistant Graphic Design Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to MVW brand standards when producing all collateral for the Asia-Pacific entity. Additionally, this position will oversee other onsite collateral-based projects including purchasing, collateral stock management and distribution, and the creation and maintenance of a collateral reference library.

Core Work Activities/ Critical Tasks

Design Work
Assist the Director of Creative Services and Assistant Graphic Design Manager with creative-related jobs, as required and briefed; ensure awareness and understanding of pending and planned projects.
Handle all print/digital/html/web/multimedia projects, from concept to delivery, as requested and briefed. This includes the accurate proofreading of all assigned projects and the briefing of instructions/changes to vendors.
Liaise with external vendors including business partners, programmers, translation agencies, etc.
To work closely with Global Creative team at MVW; making sure our AP print and digital collateral, and standards are aligned with the U.S.
To constantly develop new digital ideas to support AP sales and marketing effort.
To maintain and build a strong working relationship with the Global Creative team at MVW.

Administrative Duties
Liaise with the Director of Creative Services and the Assistant Graphic Design Manager to source for and establish a network of in-country vendors.
Work closely with vendors to receive and process collateral orders.
Provide advice and assistance with all artworks, image format and design queries.
Oversee the management, administration and upkeep of photographic library and in-house artwork library.
Gain and maintain a working knowledge of current MVW and MVCI standards and guidelines, existing collateral, statistical information, etc. on an ongoing basis, and distribute relevant information to the onsite team, as appropriate.
Assist with translation processes.
Implement changes and co-ordinate the updating of existing artwork.
Handle and process vendor invoices.

Candidate Profile
Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communication or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio with knowledge in HTML and CSS is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac OSX.
Proficiency in Print Production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
Proficiency in Digital/Web Production software such as HTML and CSS, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
Must have copy writing and proofreading skills.
Must have imaging skills (retouching of images).
Well-organized, meticulous, keen attention to detail and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Motivated self-starter, resourceful, independent, and good problem-solving skills.
Enthusiastic individual with good organizational and communication skills.
