Participate as a strategic partner with senior management team in the development of sound corporate business plans and strategies.
Monitor and execute financial strategy of the Group by providing commercial insights, strategic analysis and leadership on financial reporting.
Responsible to implement and manage Enterprise Risk Management framework, ensuring the effectiveness and operational ready for the Group and its business units.
Provide guidance to the CEO on the preparation of the annual budget planning and the preparation of forecasts, trends and financial reports.
Oversee the preparation on management reports, consolidation and group accounts.
Identify, develop and implement long and short term strategic plans to support the corporate vision.
Manage a finance team and responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient functioning of Group Finance and Treasury department.
Manage the relationships of external parties of bankers, auditors and tax advisors.
While some of the responsibilities are more strategic in nature, the CFO is also expected to be operationally involved in leading the M&A due diligence processes;
Ensuring that business controls and finance SOPs on credit collections, purchasing functions etc. are adequate and updated at the Group and subsidiary level;
Track the returns on investments on our capital expenditures, R&D, investments in associate companies etc.
Ensuring that our overall costs including but not limited to Material costs, Selling & Distribution costs, R&D costs, General and Admin costs are competitive in the markets that we serve;
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy, Business Management or equivalent.
Chartered Accountant
More than 15 years in Manufacturing MNC; Ideally currently CFO / Deputy CFO level
